2 Answers. According to the Wikipedia page for this device, officially, it only supported 4.2.2 at the highest. You'd need to update it using a third-party software, such as LineageOS.

Chrome should work fine, update to the latest version possible (supported by 4.4) by grabbing it from apkmirror. Do the same for YouTube. Now, if YouTube still doesn't work, it's most likely because of Google Play Services not being updated.
