Re: Object draw distance. #5 by PG01 ยป 17 Feb 2014 13:53. I know this is kinda late but you can increase the side mirror rendering distance by increasing uset r_mirror_view_distance in config.cfg in your ETS2 My Documents folder. It always bugged me when bridges or entire mountains just vanished. Shame you can't do the same for forward terrain
you need to set windows up so that the other monitor is your main . Right click on desktop somewhere (have the 2nd screen plugged in of course) and then setup the monitor to be your main you will see a check box for it there . pretty easy youll see and fig it out . If youre stuck and need more help past that add me and i can guide ya through it.
Camera 3 (Overhead) will change depending on your gear (it'll show the rear of the truck when in reverse which is very helpful for parking). Camera 4 is completely fixed (top of your truck). Camera 5 is similar to the peeking out of the window that you can do through the Interior Camera, so you can move your "head" around on that side only.

Edit config.cfg and change 'uset g_simple_parking_doubles "1" ' to 'uset g_simple_parking_doubles "0" ' and save it. Run the game and turn steam cloud back on again. Your local profile will be saved to the cloud and the setting should stay. The "I can do anything" parking option should still appear. Who's idea was it to stick it right in front of the dash? That's the part of the interior I want to see the most. Put it elsewhere; above the windshield makes the most sense to me. I've tried various mods to change its location, but they all crash the game in VR mode.

tweaking our caps a bit or a slight head angle adjustment, then recentering the viewport with TrackIR software on the fly , or not. That is confusing to read. Anyway, it works . That said, I do use it some to move the seat up or down some, depending on rig.

Accessing your Server Settings. Your primary server settings can be accessed using the Config Files section of your server's control panel. Access your control panel. Navigate to Files > Config Files. Click Truck Simulator Server Settings. Every time i change it's value i cannot see any difference on screen. fyi i'm using triples 57x10. tia Im using triples too - yes it changes the FOV when i just tested. I have 5760x1080 resolution.
