Kia Pro Ceed Temperature Actuator. I've got a 2008 Kia Pro ceed 2.0 crdi, the car is only blowing cold air so with the help of reading posts on this forum I seen that it is likely to be the Hvac Temperature Actuator, so I stripped it down and took the part out, I moved the arm so that it is blowing hot air which it now is. I'm hoping this means Heater resistor has failed and taken out power supply to itlikely a fuse. This has dropped power to other items like power steering. No codes as likely using an OBD2 reader which will only read engine codesemission basedwhile the items that are not working would not be included. If you can't spot a failed fuse, you will likely need a 1) Windscreen fluid froze in the reservoir and pump. 2) I pressed (and held) the washer button but the pump motor could not move. 3) The pump drew too much current and blew the fuse. Replacing the fuse fixed my problem. (It wasn't on a cee'd though.) Steering fault on Ceed 3. Please can anyone offer help on the following fault: the power steering intermittently faults. The EPS indicator illuminates, and the steering becomes very stiff to turn.
