If you are used to blipping the throttle while not moving, you may want to select "N". In "D" the DCT is not very forgiving. Throttle opens, the bike is moving forward. On the street waiting for traffic, pedestrians or whatever, being in gear allows you to move as the situation demands. You will get used to it.

DCT reset never got rid of it for me. But like you, only 2x in the past 4000 miles. I mean dang in a technical environment If it it was manual I would probably stall the bike myself plenty of times - as I keep telling them tho getting rear ended by urban traffic is the concern here.

Clutch plates and the clutch baskets are known to produce visible flakes in the engine oil as well as gear wear over time. The filter system will keep this out of critical crank and rod bearings.
