I second this. Sometimes I get small rashes/ mini pimples even after very long runs (that go away after a day) from rubbing/ the skin not breathing. i would - if possible - advise you to put it on at a bathroom break at work before you leave. The workplace must have some sort of restroom.

Something is messed up in my less than 1.5 years old HRM Pro. A few days ago my HF seemed to be too low for that run. I guess 10bpm. Next day the strap didn't connect to my FR245. Also my phone couldn't find the strap. I checked the battery, 2.89V. Last change, the second one, was only a few weeks ago. The first battery lasted less than a year.

Replace battery door and four screws. After you replace the heart rate monitor battery, you may need to pair your heart rate monitor with the device again. Pairing instructions may vary from device to device. Please refer to the owner's manual for pairing instructions. For additional care instructions, see the Caring for the Heart Rate Monitor
Post #1 of 21 (4227 views) I bought a Garmin HRM Pro heart rate strap to use while cycling, outdoors and for Zwift. I've always been curious about my heart during swimming, so I tried it with my Garmin 935. But I'm having problems with the strap saving the heart data after my swim workout. The strap works fine during a swim session. Surprisingly, at least from Garmin, the Garmin Forerunner 945 only has one version but it can also be bought bundled up with the HRM-Tri and HRM-Swim heart rate monitors for an extra $150 / £130.
There’s a tension bar underneath the battery, so it’s normal for it to not sit level until you screw the top back on. Ensure the gasket is intact (the hardest part for me), and when you screw down the lid the battery will hold in place. fravowi1912 • 2 yr. ago. Yeah, thanks. I know it doesn't sit level.
Personally I don’t have problems using an optical wrist HRM for indoor rowing but many people do. As for chest HRMs, unless you need the extra functionality of the Garmin models, the Polar H10 is bullet proof and one of the most accurate (according to lab tests) on the market. RE: Garmin HRM-Dual not working Ultimately the HRM-Dual didn't work for me after all, so I purchased the Garmin HRM-PRO + and have had zero problems with it using both an Edge 830 & Forerunner 745. In fact the running metrics it provides are terrific. fY7J.
