Following the success of Mordor and a partnership that seemed to work wonders, Grigg and Schyman once again teamed up to work on the highly-anticipated sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, out now well shadow of mordor and war werent pretending to be canon Reply [deleted] • Additional comment actions

Combat-wise you're better off comparing it to the recent Batman games - it uses exactly the same combat system with abilities tweaked to better fit the setting. Stealth-wise it's kind of a mixed bag. Sneaking around is about the same difficulty at the core, but is a touch trickier since there isn't as much stuff to hide in/behind/on top of.

You most commonly gain intel by dominating your foe rather than outright killing him. Shadow of Mordor's executions are gory indeed, but domination is an even more fearsome process: Talion's flesh
Best. Add a Comment. [deleted] • 3 yr. ago. Most people prefer shadow of war if we look at the polls. I think the graphic‘s are playing a role in the judgement of certain players. Same for the design of the orcs who seem less indimidating for those players. The orcs being less unique in the way they are talking.
Shadow of War is unquestionably the better video game, but I still believe that Shadow of Mordor has the vastly superior aesthetic. It put the "grit" in "gritty realism." You could feel the grime on the walls. And the violence in Mordor had more weight. It felt real, and it felt brutal.
The sequel boxes are generally ticked off with Shadow of War, it's bigger, better, and a touch more ambitious than Shadow of Mordor was, but there are aspects that feel somewhat dated now, and there's a lack of polish to certain controls that dilutes the fun just a smidgen.
The main story campaign in Shadow of War ends with Act III, which is about an hour long. Well, between 35 and 50 minutes, depending on the difficulty you have chosen and your personal skills and previous experience as a Ranger. It reveals the fate of Talion, Shelob, Eltariel, Celebrimbor and Sauron, of course. After that Act IV begins, which is The idea of brutal is that both you and the enemies do increased damage to each other (while gravewalker tends to give you extremely tanky enemies). And yes, eventually (at least in my experience) you can get OP with the right skills and armor but still have to be on your toes cause you still get hit for a ton of damage. hippygrunt101. WW5DHa.
